Through a clever mix of stop motion animation and interviews, THE WANTED 18 recreates an astonishing true story: the Israeli army’s pursuit of 18 cows, whose independent milk production on a Palestinian collective farm was declared “a threat to the national security of the state of Israel.”

Overall I agree with the assessment of it being wlkaable. I live and work in the area, so I rarely need to get in my car to get to & fro, and there’s a some good eats in the area and of course the metro. However, in terms of easy access to food, I don’t agree that it’s a wlkaable. The nearest large market is the Ralphs on Vineland, which isn’t really a practical walk with a bunch of grocery bags from where I live west of Lankershim. Things were much better when Hows was right in the center of the district with easy access to groceries I still have no idea why they stuck a gym in that space instead when there are plenty of other places to work out. If the area had better availability to healthy groceries (such as smaller markets to bridge the gap between the big super markets), I would say this neighborhood has it all. It’s a nice consolation prize to have the great NoHo farmers market on Saturdays, but that doesn’t cover the late night munchies on a week day night!
